Not really trying to be anything, but we really don't have a lot of hat picking type stuff going on today. Mostly just hoping the guys we have send their faxes in. There were 3-4 outside shots and Charlot. That's really it.

I didn't know if it was just that I haven't followed the recruits as closely as I used to or what, but this year definitely has a lack of signing day "excitement" for Bama. Not in the quality of the class, but in the unknown or lack thereof. The class itself is certainly reason for excitement.

See Kenny Bell a few years ago who flipped on NSD.
Saban does this all of the time. He wants to create buzz in Louisiana and keep up the idea that he and LSU fight it out over recruits and he wins every time.
You called it a "second rate stunt." I agree. But, whatever. It is what he does.
