LSU - Frank Wilson - RB

Mike Groh is Bama's, along with his job of WRs Coach.

Right now it's Frank Wilson, the RBs coach. He's also our top in-state recruiter. But it's not always how that works out. RC has a lot of admin stuff that goes along with it. In the past we've had TE coaches serve that role as well. And they aren't always the best recruiter on the staff.

Use to be Rodney Garner for us but Auburn stoled him

For A&M it's Clarence McKinney the RB coach:

McKinney came with Sumlin in 2012 from Houston where he had this duty as well (he previously served as a HS coach in the Houston area).

This is exactly what I was wondering. Do you shove it off on a guy that isn't a strong recruiter or do you have your best guy doing it.

Richt says he hasn't decided whether to give anyone a formal title of "recruiting coordinator", so the space next to UGA will probably be blank unless Grantham or someone steps up to take the title.

Nkemdiche, Treadwell, Lawson, Moore, Jones, Connor, and , Daniels just to name a few of our RC

The most likely candidates for Recruiting Coordinator for UGA is John Lilly or Bryan McClendon. Lilly is the most qualified as he held the same title at FSU for a number of years.

IMO, you have to give it to a guy that's a tireless worker with good organizational skills. The coordinator part of the equation wins out. Sometimes that may also be your best recruiter, but it doesn't have to be.

Ours was Luper since Chzik was here. I think most of the time it doesn't go to the best recruiter. I'm sure Trooper was helping Luper when he could.

A gigantic stack of cash stuffed in the hatch of a brand new Tahoe.
At least that's what Coonass told me.

Not sure who will get the title under Malzahn... Garner, Melvin Smith, and Charlie Harbison were all RCs at their former schools, I believe.
