I don't fear Jimbo as a recruiter but FSU is a thorn in our side for S. GA kids

I have to admit I should have added Jimbo to the list. Helton finishes strong on signing day..

Jimbo is the only coach other than Saban that's been a pain to LSU

We've always recruited nationwide so there's not really one recruiter outside the SEC that we're up against constantly. I suppose Urban is the most present of those outside but I don't fear him.

Dabo has been a thorn in our side the past 2 cycles.

Urban
Harbaugh (because of his gimmicks)
Dabo- he is a strong recruiting competitor
Auburn likes to recruit Florida....Possibly Richt at Miami. We will see.

This. Jimbo took two 5* players from LSU just this year.

I think Urban has to be the answer this year for SEC teams.
So far in the 2018 class Meyer has taken Wray, Cox, Banks (to a lesser extent) all from SEC territory in the last month. Emory Jones as well
Really UGA and UF are the ones getting hosed the most
I guess A&M as well with OSU's success in Texas lately.
Dabo is already in SEC territory as is FSU, so I think you look at them a bit differently right?

Urban poses no threat to LSU's recruiting
Jimbo Fisher is by far the top answer here from the LSU perspective

Meyer and Harbaugh are actually actively recruiting the south. Helton is recruiting the West. Him making the short list is a bit of a head-scratcher.

Why is Clay Helton even on this list? He was on a very hot seat mid-way through 2016. He very well may still crash and burn.

I don't know if 'fear' is the right word, but I could see Tom Herman doing a much better job of recruiting Texas than did Charlie Strong. I know Alabama, LSU, and Ole Miss have all had some success recently plucking guys out of Texas.

Just last cycle. Not too concerned about him to be honest.

Dabo's recruiting ability is impressive. It's quite amazing considering how he comes off as a bit of a buffoon frequently. He's even made some statements to the media that I figure would drive players away, like being against paying players stating, "“I’ll go do something else because there’s enough entitlement in this world as there is" even though he's making over 5 million a year in salary, endorsements, and bonuses. He also stated he would punish players that did not stand for the national anthem if they were in the situation where his team was on the field during the anthem.
You got to be a heck of a salesman to recover from remarks like those.
