....so I'll go ahead and say it's looking like a banner year for Alabama.

the locks i know of-
Marlon Humphrey
Da'Shawn Hand
Lorenzo Carter
Bo Scarbrough
Cameron Robinson
David Cornwell

at you making that comment and following it up with a list like that. Using the word "lock" a bit too liberally there. Marlon and Bo are the only two I'd call a sure lock on that list.

I've heard and read that about many players who were "locks" to the favorite school. See Hugh Freeze or any other coach who were good enough to pry players from their "dream" school.

As I said in the previous post, it would be a major coup if he did it. I didn't say Scarbrough would end up going to UF.

Muschamp isn't about to start carelessly slinging around the bags of cash like Freeze is. Bo is going to Bama and if he did decommit, I'd really like our chances with him. At least as well as UF's.

To answer the OP...I am keeping a close eye on Sony Michel out of state and for a sleeper in GA, DeMarquis Gates.

The only person that we are in a serious battle in state that we have a good chance of losing is Hootie Jones.

Besides him, it seems like we are the leader or are even for every single in state player.

Hootie and Brumfield will probably go OOS. Everyone else will be LSU.

I'd be interested to know why you think Hootie will end up out of state.

Looking right now like we will get Cam Robinson and the big OT out of Miss (although we might be frickED with him if Freeze starts showing him interest lol)

Bama waited for this class to get the OTs a LOT better ones in this class

He's more interested in Bama than LSU fans want to admit. He came to our spring game last year, then our summer camp, and then junior day a couple weeks ago. I realize he goes to West Monroe, but he's not an LSU lock at this point

Watson without a doubt for me. He wins a Heisman somewhere. Just pleeeeease let it be at Clemson!

Da'Shawn Hand. He could be the next and greatest amongst a serious roster of elite DE's (Norwood, Matthews, Ingram, Taylor Clowney.)

Hand's just a pipe dream at this point (though we are still in his top five after loosing Elliot, so that's a good sign...), so I'm more looking forward to the guys we have a more realistic shot at. Shaq Davidson (yet another SC Mr. Football) and Darrell Hand (#1 APB in the country out of Havelock in NC). Both of them are super athletic and heavy leans to USC.

Sure Cam is very interested in Bama....doesn't mean he ends up there. I give you a 40% chance at best.

Top 5s at this stage really don't mean a whole lot. Lot of these kids haven't even taken a visit, yet.

For FSU...I'm looking forward to Blanding.

It's vastly superior to being his bottom 115, though...
