Its been sad that Brown and Rochester aren't really 5 stars...I don't buy it though. 247 be on some personal shite with their rankings.

Auburn's 2017 class will be better than Georgia's this year anyway. Already have commitments from 3 top 100 players and lead for at least 4 or 5 more.
OSU already has 5 of the top 100 and lead for at least 3 more. Have 8 guys in the 247 and a guy at 252 and a kicker

I wouldn't say leading fir Gary or Manual, but possible top 3

USC's 2004 class was insane. 8 5-stars (out of 19 total players), UGA's wont beat that and might not even be #1 for 2016, hell, you are barely Top 10 at the moment

At the moment, we're around 10. But there's a good chance we finish with:
Nauta: 5*
Brown: 5*
Davis: 5*
Hardman: 4*
Laguins: 4*
Holyfield: 4*
Burns: 4*
Simmons: 4*
Possibly Gary: 5* #1 overall (looks like we'll get a visit so there's always a chance).
May not be #1 overall but if the class falls in place like we think, it will be top 5.

AU owns the state of Georgia they will take at least 2 on that list mark my words...

And other teams ALREADY towards the top have similar lists of players they trying to finish out with. UGA really isnt even close right now, dumb thread.

And where did I say that we were putting together the GOAT class? Where did I even say we'd be #1 this year?

Yeah, we don't lead for Gary. We've positioned ourselves well to make a surge in his recruitment, but we definitely don't lead. But we do likely hold sizable leads for the rest of those guys. Also have outside shots at Ben Davis, Deontay Anderson, a very slim chance with Mack Wilson, and maybe Ed Oliver. Then you have mystery recruits like Keion Joyner and Drake Davis, alongside lower ranked guys like Stephon Taylor, Travez Moore, and Kyle Meyers who could end up Tigers. We obviously won't end up with all those guys, but we're going to have a sick finish.

Ben Davis ain't going anywhere but Alabama. Maybe Mack Wilson, but slim as you said. I'd be shocked if either don't sign with Alabama.

Everyone still seems to be talking stars with the OP's question. What about wins and hardware for a single signing class? 2000 Miami, 2006 Florida, 2008 Alabama?
Posted on 7/28/15 at 8:01 pm to CapstoneGrad06
I absolutely expect both to sign with Bama, but I think we have a small chance with Davis. By his own admission he grew up an LSU fan, he's known Steele for years, and we have a pretty big opening at LB. I'm pretty sure we'll get an OV, then anything can happen. It's highly unlikely but I think there's a little bit of an opening for LSU.

UGA isn't trying, they will finish with almost every player on that list.
