What happens to Bama’s class now?

Surely there will be some disappointed kids in that class. Can they be released of their NLI?

Since Saban waited so long...most of the portal activity has taken place.
There are a lot less spots available for them to transfer to.

I’m sure they’ll lose some, but it’s still a good opportunity and big program. If you’re a 4*, it’s definitely not a sure thing that if you leave you can find a similar opportunity elsewhere at this point as a lot of places and classes are close to full. Top 5 type programs don’t have unlimited room.

I think what activity happens will be more likely to happen after year 1 of the new coach, or at least late enough that the transfer will count toward the 2025 recruiting class scholarship numbers.
