Bama fans you guys will know the most, but he flipped twice and went back to Michigan within one week.
Seriously, what occurred to #1 flip in the first place and #2 flip back like 3 days later?

Bama’s check wasn’t big enough

His parents wanted Michigan. And since they have to sign the LOI as well, they got their wish.
I think the Harbaugh rumors unsettled him as well.

i think there was some game being played with hill and battle.
either way, hard to blame parents for wanting their children to go to a school like michigan.

It looks like a publicity stunt by Harbaugh. He wanted to "flip" a Bama recruit. I don't think the kid was ever coming to Bama.

I seriously doubt that. Dax Hill is a high character kid. He was genuinely sold on Alabama and Michigan. He was torn.

Reminds me of when Cyrus Kouandjio committed to Auburn and faxed his LOI to Bama.

Maybe so, but it had a weird feel from the beginning.

According to UM people, rumors that Harbaugh and Brown were headed out. Once they proved to him they were staying, he switched back. However, he could've just waited it out, if that was the case. It's an odd situation all the way around.

Saban told him he could pick whichever bunk he wanted during the slumber party. Harbaugh had to bite the bullet, and revoke his dibs on the top bunk to win him back.

I think most of us were cautiously optimistic about him. When he flipped it didnt seem like his dad was very approving of it. Then there were really no interviews or getting to know him so we kind of saw the writing on the wall. Hated to see him go but wish him well.

Alabama did not offer him money. They offer an opportunity to be a champion and a success in life. Alabama is not for every player.

I find this hard to believe. If he was worried about Harbaugh leaving why not just wait until Feb 6th to sign to be sure?
His parents being higher on Michigan than Bama makes the most sense to me. He probably flipped without telling them and got the parental arse kicking.
