This part isn’t uncommon for UGA early on.

I do think UGA is probably victimized by big spenders more than anyone else because Kirby is still targeting and getting high interest from top national players but isn’t paying what Miami, Texas Tech, etc are.

It says something about the state of things that 1) I’m only now seeing this and 2) I just cannot be bothered to care. This would have ruined my day 5-10 years ago and now it’s such a waste of time to get worked up over because we all know why they flip and we all know it’s probably not going to be their final destination even if they make it to Coral Gables in the first place.

It hurt more when the flip felt like a referendum on your school or coaching staff. Now it’s just about the better financial offer on the table. Which makes it even less important to care that a kid ever committed in the first place.

I want to care about recruiting again. I miss following it and the results actually mattering.

Nah Miami is actually an attractive place for college kids, Athens....not so much.

Kirby is a great coach no doubt but he had a massive advantage prior to NIL along with Saban.

Bro, if only two teams were paying before and Miami is such an attractive place, then why was da U so bad for so long? That leaves hundreds of other high level recruits for them to rake up

Because we put a shite product on the field, hired awful coaches, and were way behind facilities wise.

It isnt only Georgia or Bama. Clemson was another one and TAMU pulled that ridiculous class under jimbo out of nowhere.

Its not a coincidence the schools in college towns did well with recruiting pre-nil, its just been leveled now and obviously some schools are ponying up NIL wise.

TAMU and Ttech have oil money, its no secret.

You also have 30,000 empty seats in an nfl stadium every Saturday like some conference USA school.

No we dont bro, thats just not true. Hard Rock is a great stadium and yes while it would be nice to have an on campus stadium, the kids dont care at the end of the day because when they get to the NFL they play in NFL Stadiums.

When Hard Rock is sold out, its one of the loudest stadiums in America.

Notre Dame 2017 was bananas and Kirk Herbstreit said it was one of the loudest hes been in.

Disagree. Athens is a solid college town. Have you been there? If UM is all that why is ND beating U for just about every recruit head to head with shite weather, shite town and ugly girls. Dont say they're paying more

Uh...Miami average football recruiting ranking over the last 10 years....14.1
UGA average football recruiting ranking over the last 10 years....3.3

SOMETHING is attracting them to Athens, bro.
