I actually like EJ... met him in person and seems like a good dude. Gonna be weird having any positive feelings about a guy in a Gator uniform. Hopefully he does something stupid before we end up playing you guys with him at QB so I can root against him in good conscience.

Me too, he went from 5star stud to a 4 star. I guess he really struggled this year and that was reflected this week. That being said, he's a damn good fit for Mullen.

He didn't progress this year like many had expected/hoped... He's still a damn fine athlete, and will probably develop well with Mullen. The real question IMO, is can they afford to Redshirt him. I think he needs it... if not... can they at least keep him healthy and not wreck his development. He's a bit of a project, but has good upside with Mullen's ability to work with mobile QBs.

I doubt he gets a red shirt. Brian Johnson and Mullen are pretty good QB guys so I honestly expect a day one start and let him go from there. Year one is about building anyways. May as well build with the future.

Coming back from Orlando, wouldn't be a bad idea if he's even remotely considering visiting... dead period and all... so who knows what gray area might have been tread on, but I wouldn't be surprised if he was actually in Gainesville... even if it was just to stop and get some food.
