Last good GA QB UGA recruited was David Greene.

Technically, it's 25 miles. Oak Ridge rarely sends players to UT (especially with Joe Gaddis as their Head Coach). Gaddis has had a tendency to divert them elsewhere.
Do you know of any big time players, (started in the SEC and in the NFL), that went to UT from Oak Ridge in the last 20 years. I can name one off the top of my head that went to Bama from there. Jason McAddley.
Oak Ridge has never been a pipeline to UT.
Geographically, saying that Oak Ridge is Knoxville is like saying Centereville is in Tuscaloosa.
ETA...I grew up in Oak Ridge, and can verify that it is culturally different than Knoxville.
