Probably saw more playing time here and I'm 100% okay with that. Big time player at a huge position of need.

Yeah that's an understatement bama probably has 7 or 8 top guys battling for playing time at the Lb positions. LSU barely any depth . I expect he may start 1st game.

Well considering he didn't have an offer from Alabama, nor visited Tuscaloosa, I'd say the claim is suspect at best.

He had an offer and was brought in by bama in the last week for an official visit.

Finally found someone from the Alabama side to confirm Speights' visit:
