Top 25 players in the state of Georgia (commitments):

Clemson: (4) 1, 12, 20, 25
LSU: (3) 2, 6, 16
Alabama: (3) 7, 9, 17
Auburn: (6) 4, 10, 11, 14, 15, 24
Georgia Tech: (2) 19, 23
Tennessee: (2) 13, 21
UNC: (1) 22
Stanford: (1) 8
MSU: (1) 18
UGA: (2) 3, 5

Note that 7 of these are not signed yet...so there could be some late flips. As it is...Auburn and Clemson are cleaning house in the state of Georgia today.

The state of Georgia is always loaded, no reason for Georgia to only get 2 of the top 25

Have now followed recruiting too closely this year... Assume Tank was at one point a heavy uga lean?

I think he alluding to idea of taking percieved higher rated players from areas of the country that football may not mean as much versus taking 25 guys from Georgia, Florida, Alabama, Louisianna that may be equally talented or slightly less talented but would sell their souls to play at a place like UGA. Just my personal opinion but why would you go to California to sign a kid when you probably have 5 guys like that in Georgia just waiting for the offer.

We will have a top 5 class this year, but I really do not understand what happened in state. Some I get, like Murphy and Gilbert, but there are some real head scratchers in there too.

We missed on a few but we're recruiting on a national level now. Ga HS football is loaded next year and you'll see more players sign with UGA.

I mean GA HS football is loaded every year

Agree 100% Give me a 4 star from Georgia or Alabama that has lived, ate, and breathed football in the southeast his entire life over a 5 star from Nevada any day of the week.

LSU signed the #1 OLB from GA (#4 nationally). High four star.

Poor UGA signed a Wash DC OLB who is #2 nationally. 5 star.

Who got the better OLB?

There are other examples.

Clemson has 4 kids signed from GA that have UGA offers. That state has so many good players though, UGA still gets plenty of good players

First, keep the shite talking on the Rant.

Second, we'll still end up with a top 3-4 class so your comment is just as retarded as you are.

Definitely, but this year was a little down for the state and next year will be a step up from our average.

Auburn signed the #10 Player in GA, a wide receiver ranked 18 in the nation.

Poor kirby has to settle for a Florida kid at #7 in the nation.

There are more examples.

Dabo is just flat out getting who he wants from wherever he wants them right now.

Looks like LSU is going to have to throw a wrench in that.

but, of course, that is subjective and we'll have to wait probably at least a couple of years to know that answer.

Recruiting has become its own game, but it's still hit or miss.

We'll see about this last one, I hope Flowe is the icing on the cake but I think getting Simpson over the weekend means means Flowe is staying out west
