That definitely could still happen... From what I've heard, pretty much every coaching staff is still 90-95% confident they'll get whichever players they're going after. Which basically means no one knows anything at all

We never got his mom to campus like we were hoping to do after the dead period ended but him announcing today probably means Bama.

Its still a possibility, but with him announcing today and not even having taken an official (or visited whatsoever since his soph yr), its starting to seem less likely.

When would he play for OM or Bama? I know OM had that stud true Freshman at safety, would Hootie be the next guy up at the opposite spot or more of a LB? I'm assuming he would be a safety at Bama, correct? Taking over after Collins leaves next year? I can only imagine the numbers at the safety position are thin in Tuscaloosa due to NFL. I'm excited to see him play in this game, hopefully the rumors of him getting slow and out of shape are true

He'd be in the safety rotation immediately with Hampton. The guys in front of them are more experienced but have far less potential. Connor plays our husky hybrid lb/ss position.
