"Missouri football picked up their second commit out of Texas, and 18th overall, as 2014 Forth Worth (Texas) Dunbar athlete Stepfawn Hughes confirmed he chose the Tigers over offers from LSU, Baylor, Oklahoma State, TCU, Nebraska, Colorado, Iowa State and UNT."

So now the articles they're writing are inaccurate. He doesn't have an offer to play football at LSU.

For the last time, the kid didn't have an offer. But keep on pretending you got some huge recruiting victory over LSU.

I think it's pretty obvious that you haven't followed recruiting very long. It looks like the writer is trying to hype the pickup. kids report offers they don't have or aren't committable all the time.

Exactly... It's a secondary violation for the school to comment on any recruit. The services list offers based on who the kids say offered them, the school can't confirm or deny an offer... jeez...

It will be interesting to see if this recruiting strategy of "raiding the MAC" works out for Pinkel and Missouri.

We'll sign ZERO 4-stars this year, unless we go 12-0 this year. Oh, and while UK is having a good recruiting class, I'm not sure any UK fan is quite yet in a position to talk shite about recruiting...in football at least.

It won't. We either have to go 12-0 or we need a new coach to change the flow of recruiting. I think North Dakota State has been our fiercest competitor btw, not the MAC. I've seen their name as having offered on more commitments than any other school.
