Haven't worried a lick about recruiting since Kirby's first class. We are Georgia not Alabama or Tennessee. We got plenty.

This year is not all that different than past years. It’s not like Louisiana where LSU has cleaned up the top players. It’s never been that way for Georgia and they’ve been fine. They get enough of them and have been killing it in Florida to make up for it.

I just, I mean. . . I'm not sure how we're going to get through this rough stage right now.

Are we acting like Louisiana isn’t getting cherry picked by other teams right now as well?

It happens. Obviously missing on Downs and Haynes hurts, but I’ll start to worry when we don’t recruit well as a whole.

Not sure if you are referring to the states or the Football programs, but if talking about the states, then I get it, because the state is loaded most years, but if talking about the program, then I am sure you do know that Bama is the only team that has managed to out recurit Kirby according to the rankings since he arrived on campus, although it is just a slight advantage.

I don't think anybody has any illusions that Alabama can't recruit. I would assume he was talking about the state....but we are on the Rant, so who knows?

Most dawg fans will be excited to see more of edwards. He comes off as a lunch pail kid fighting for every inch. He has some slippery to him and often finds that extra 2-4 yards through the tackle.
You are describing Rodney Hampton. I can so muff deal with that.

The state. There's plenty of options for us. That's why I don't get worried in July.

Plenty to go around. You always want to do well in state, but Alabama and UGA and a few other schools recruit so well regionally and nationally that missing on a few guys in state can be overcome.

Probably doesn't matter as much under the current UGA admin, but in the past, the academic numbers of players were a big issue when recruiting instate. Not saying anything about what happens once they get in, but getting them in used to be a problem. Not sure what it is like now.
