I would quite enjoy seeing 2 back, 2 TE sets with Evans, Achane/Spiller, Wydermyer and Cupp/Smith

One of my A&M friends summed it up best for me this weekend on their prospect of having Evans join:
"I'll think of it the same way when we signed Kyler Murray: on paper it's great, and I'll be excited to have such a great talent on the team, but I can't help but think 'how's this going to work'"

If it's a clearinghouse issue, the NCAA clearinghouse will make him indefinitely ineligible if the alternative is that he goes to A&M.

Liucci just said on the radio that if Evans gets out of his LOI, then the chances for A&M are very good. However, we have two other major possibilities as well, so how much gambling is Fisher willing to do for Evans?

we are going to pass on shepherd for evans. especially when theres a chance shepherd may have to go JUCO

The aforementioned A&M insider said Shepard will NOT go JUCO. He has all his grades/credits lined up to be on campus in the spring.

Good thing is, if he wants to come to LSU, Coach O is in COMPLETE control of the situation.
Coach O calls him in for a meeting, and lays down the law.
1. You must be academically qualified before you sign. You don't qualify, you don't sign.
2. This is LSU, and here's how it's gonna be (basically my way or the highway).
3. Here's the depth chart. You can compete for carries, but the guy who earns them will get them.
This is what it is. Are you in or out?

I get it....but if your insiders are anything like some of ours....well. they are wrong more often than I care to admit.
It's been interesting to see all of the fan bases (ours included) switch directions concerning Evans.
"He's ours and is great!"
"He's going somewhere else! He's overrated and trouble!"
"I told y'all he was all ours! He will put us over the top! He just needs a steadying influence!"
He's nothing but a drama queen! I'm glad we didn't get him!"
It's almost like a school of fish swimming in an aquarium. They go fast in one direction, then switch directions fast and head in the other direction.
Like I said....it's all the schools, not just one.

yes
it will be hilarious to watch all of the LSU posters on here magically not care about his issues if he chooses them. just like its funny to see A&M posters coming around again, and UGA people act like hes a total cancer now
