Every program misses out on prospects. I find it laughable that other fan bases expect us to be unsatisfied with this class because we didn't get LF or Thomas. We brought in four last year (three now minus Kamara) and already have Yeldon and Drake in place. Our class wasn't dependent on a RB. Losing Thomas is not even comparable to Auburn losing Evans.

Roc wanted to commit to Bama early on, but he was put on hold as we tried to recruit LF. He grew tired of waiting and settled for Auburn

Looks to be true, but then Roc gave Lane the stiff arm when he came to make a visit him at school.

No I'm sure Les and Malzahn have never not signed a recruit they wanted.

Just because you read it on BOL, doesn't mean it's true.

They literally CANNOT stand that Auburn wasn't Roc's first choice and that we aren't upset about not getting him.

All that matters is that Auburn was his final choice.

I could give a shite if Auburn was his last choice. We signed the best player in the state at a position of need. Personally, I think it was a mistake by Bama to not pursue the kid harder.

What I do find funny is message board posters who know little to nothing about the kid personally or the inner workings of his recruitment posting as if they do.

I never claimed any insider knowledge of the kid's recruitment. That'd be you and the other BOL idiots in this thread.

That seems to be the issue. In the end AU got a great player and in a position that can contribute early for them. UA gambled because RB was not a priority in this class and missed out in the end on a great player.

Good luck to the kid and I look forward to watching him play.

I wonder how much praise LF would be getting from Wal-Mart Nation if chose Alabama? Same with Roc if he flipped.

Scarborough is a better athlete but Roc and LF are better running backs right now. He could end up as the best of the 3, looking forward to finding out.

Did Alabama slow-play Racean Thomas? Yes (this is something we all knew). Does the Auburn staff care? No, they got their guy. Does Racean Thomas realize he made the correct decision? Yes. Does Alabama regret slow-playing him in favor of Leonard Fournette? Yes. They rolled out the red carpet for him at the end of his recruitment, and he said no thanks.

He woke up late , arrived at school late, and tried to hide from Lane Kiffin when he was set to visit his school. And he also told the Alabama coaches "no thanks" when they offered to pick him up and drive him to Tuscaloosa.
