I did my fair share of melting, but this is pretty comparable actually.
Getting Evans wouldn't have actually addressed a severe need in this class. Would have definitely been nice to have him but not getting Roc would be much worse for us going forward.
Granted, Bama doesn't need Evans as much as we need Roc, but Evans was far from the be-all-end-all need of our class.

You can dispute my source all you want. They finished 3/4 on calling players and basically gave me the play-by-play before any of Justin Hoke, Bryan Mattews, etc... could pass it along. Rocky, GeneChin, and Sandman know. Anyways, they also told me that RaShaan Evans gave a silent commit to Auburn during his official visit (immediately after the visit), and bam, Justin Hoke reports that this week.
He just decided to go to Alabama instead.
