Bingo. Kid needs to get it notarized with plenty of copies. If not he could be screwed in the long run if it doesnt end up the way he was supposedly told.

Not really. Haven't really thought of it that way before, and no, it does not bother me in the least.

I chuckle at you though because I imagine it would bother you because your life and self worth probably revolve around the Tadd.

The kid had a knee injury that would cause most coaches to just write the kid off completely. So no, he isn't. He is offering him A year delayed chance of a lifetime opposed to him signing with some rinky dink directional school because of his injury.

It's hard to act like you're on a high horse while sitting on a donkey.

What a shitty excuse. Saban has known for months that his knee was messed up. He didn't have to wait until now to tell him.

There's only one problem. I don't get into pissing matches with Noles. I don't even bother with boards where they post.

You guys are weird. That's all there is to it. I lived in Bama for three years. I've witnessed your weirdness first hand.

So you dont think finding a job for a potential recruit is a recruiting violation

Ruben Randall was told by a state legistatator that any LSU player that wants a job will get one in the state capital. You don't think that getting a recruit a job is not done at all schools? I doubt if it will amount to much of anything but the kid should have kept his mouth shut. If interviewed the coaches will say the kid misunderstood what was said. Much ado about nothing.

Saban cost this young man a year of his life.

Okay drama queen. If he's got a scholarship offer to Bama you know he's got plenty of offers. If he doesn't want to wait he can go elsewhere. Hell, AU should try to sign him. Lord knows y'all need the help.

As long as its a legit job, no its not. It would be nothing more than being a reference on an application and proving otherwise would be nigh impossible even if it WAS more than that.

They would be providing benefits to a potential recruit even if it was just a reference. He would not have signed a LOI, he is still a recruit.

Being a reference is not a violation regardless of how much you want it to be. You cannot punish a coach for answering a phone call from a potential employer and saying "yeah, he's a good kid." sorry.

I have said for two years now saban is lying to recruits. Of course a lot of bama fans want to argue it, but he is not telling recruits up front there is a good possibility they will greyshirt. He waits until late in the process to make it more difficult for them to go elsewhere. Also, he is not upfront with roster numbers. He hides them and refuses to release them, officially citing privacy laws which he knows do not apply. He does not want players to know that approximately 35-40% of the recruits he signs will be cut no matter what they do, just to make room for others.

Wow. Let me be the first to tell you how much we enjoy your insight into Saban and UA recruiting. I feel like we should pay you a subscription fee. Have you ever thought about starting up your own recruiting website? You could name it www.saban'sballsarehuge.com.
