Just reported for Milton's official visit to LSU this weekend, Elias Ricks is flying in to visit as well to personally recruit him on an unoffical.

Sounds too good to be true.

Milton won't be the only California prospect on hand this weekend, which will be a big boost for the LSU staff in terms of recruiting Milton to join the fold.

California five-star cornerback Elias Ricks, an LSU commitment, told the Geaux247 staff that he also plans to visit campus this weekend, but on an unofficial visit, which will allow him to help the Tigers push for one of the nation's top running back prospects.

Evans to UGA is meshing with what the Texas 247 writer said on Austin sports talk radio yesterday. Felt like UGA was leading at this time. I believe his recruitment goes all the way to February as I don't think he is an EE.

My guess is Bama leads after he and George visit this week

Evans has talked about enrolling early before, fyi

I know he’d like to play with George, but what do we think the chances are that actually happens?

Yes, he will be an EE.

I confused him with another major UGA target that said it was February, but I can't recall who that is.

Well, apparently Tank Bigsby was in Athens for a 7v7 tournament yesterday and the staff told him he has a committable offer at RB.

Sounds like they know Milton and Evans are going elsewhere.

No, he did not. Previously, our staff liked him at DB over RB was the general info from insiders.

I don't think this has anything to do with Milton/Evans specifically, rather that the odds of both going to the same school are practically zero and with Lloyd committed elsewhere, Bigsby may have become the other top target outside of those 2.

It’s definitely been assumed, and Evans has even said that outright.

But how often is that actually true? It might be in this case, but George going to Bama would be a bonus for Evans, not the reason he’d go to that school. Bama is going to be George’s best offer so it absolutely makes sense for him.

It's a UGA/Bama battle for him, but it's a long way to go. I still believe UT will be a player for him before it's all set and done.

I think UGA has pushed too hard for other RBs ahead of Bigsby, when all along he thought of himself as a top RB too. I think their latest efforts now may be too little, too late. Bigsby has already made plans....

Yeah, I have no expectation at this point for Bigsby to be in our class.

Way too early to call anyone a lock anywhere. USC’s schedule is brutal this year.

Just saying...UGA is a player imho here...he is a GA boy and they dream of playing rb for the dawgs. This is long from over...i remember a guy named Devonte Wyatt here, not a rb but a DT, and DJ Daniel...

Most projections have UGA's schedule right behind USC's for the toughest in the SEC this season. And USC plays tough schedules often, but they are in pretty good position with a lot of veteran returning players on both offense and defense to withstand that schedule.

Bigsby, nor anyone in the 2020 class, will participate this year. The staff is building the depth of talent for the future, and Bigsby will be a big part of that.....
