A 3* WR ranked #53 at his position by Rivals, #40 by 247 and #89 by ESPN is supposed to be considered elite because LSU offered them?

Not sure I follow the logic.

Didn't he change to A&M because y'all offered his friend and LSU wouldn't?

Then explain some of the beautiful deep passes Manziel's thrown ... they weren't luck.

Not saying Manziel throws the ball well down the field because he doesn't, but if Mett could throw a passable deep ball you would have beaten us by 3 TDs. He looked horrendous throwing the ball deep and missing wide open WRs all over the field.

To say he missed wide open receivers all over the field is an overstatement. He didn't play his best game, but like I said earlier a lot of his misses down field are throwaways after seeing our 5'10'' receiver is pretty much covered. In other settings his deep ball has looked good.

Yeah, not sure I follow the logic that some pasty cat behind a keyboard is better positioned to rank a kid than Stoops, Miles, or Sumlin--each of whom offered based on summer camp performances.

Did he commit to LSU to get his buddy an offer?

Stoops, Miles, or Sumlin

Miles never offered Derrick Griffin ... dude must suck.

Parker is fast, thats it. He isn't a national elite recruit everyone is clamoring for.

Stats show that there are more hits than misses in the star ratings.

Miles didn't offer Griffin for the same reason no one else really has--grades.

Parker can stretch the field and high point the ball very well.

He's a baller.

So because, on the whole, star ratings produce more hits than misses, we know Parker is not elite?

Ok.

Parker was an LSU take or his commitment would have never been public. He's good.

So ... because he has offers from 2 NC coaches + Sumlin we know that the star rankings are wrong and we can consider him elite?

So Stoops, Sumlin, and Miles ONLY offer elite recruits?

I would say that Stoops, Miles, and Sumlin only offer elite recruits on the spot after a camp performance (based solely on said performance), yes.

Why that's a stretch I'm not sure.

How any aTm fan can be this unbelievably overly confident is beyond me. What the frick have you done in the last fifteen years to merit this type of attitude? Not a damn thing.

Very angry.

I think a lot of it's misplaced, too. You're mad at LSU's offensive futility, not me. And so I forgive you.

And for the fluidity of my reading, please refrain from juxtaposing adverbs in your posts.

Thanks, bro.

I'm sorry placing "unbelievably" and "overly" together confused you so. I'll remember my audience next time: Aggie.

id say its 75/25 he ends up at A&M but who knows.

he will get to play with a Heisman candidate for next 3 years in a video game offense that also happens to be an hour from his house.

he will love the atmosphere at TS but in the end momma will decide for him. Sealy is right next to CS.

Is there someone on A&M's team that I don't know about?
