A&M's insiders on 247 and texags seem to feel like he ends up at A&M. I think that last visit may be what puts us over the edge with the new facilities being introduced. As for the rest of the corners, I think we take 3 total, with Sheffield being one who absolutely has a spot till Signing Day. I think that puts Boyd as the odd man out in terms of having a commitable offer if Hill were to commit, but I don't think we lead for Hill as of now and it doesn't look like he plans to commit any time soon.

At this point, it looks like 50/50 aggie/LSU. I think we've had him on campus a couple times over the summer including last week, but no pledge was given. He still likes us but I wouldn't be surprised if ultimately he went somewhere else which would suck because even though he's a little bit of a project, for a 6'3 cornerback he could be exceptional down the road.

But it's been like that with a handful of Texas db's this summer, not just Elam.

I agree, and think a lot hinges on who commits first between Elam, Boyd and Hill.

From what I read Shef, Elam, Hill, & maybe Boyd are all Aggie leans at this point. I don't think A&M will land them all. I do think A&M would take them all given the chance. I also believe that it will come down to who commits quickest. Once we few decide the other(s) may feel like its too crowded and let other schools negative recruit to the depth in this class.

Well here's what yall need to do: Get the ones that don't have LSU offers to commit first.

Bang, problem solved.

Which ones have LSU offers? And why on earth do they not all have offers?

My guess would be that they don't have offers because they haven't camped at LSU.

Boyd is the only one without an offer though I don't think Hill could commit even if he were interested. Elam has always been high in the priority list and no school turns away a kid like Sheffield.

This entire groups of DBs recruitment is so intertwined. I just want to see the first domino fall!

Stating facts is not trolling. LSU's #5FOR5 was a failure of epic proportions.

A&M has 3 of their "5FOR5" already committed.

5 for 5 only came about because they were all committing on the same day. you can't just say 5/5 and throw 3 already committed players on there

For us, 5 for 5 refers to the top 5 players in the state of Texas.

then I guess y'all are just cherry picking which recruiting service fits you agenda the best then, because according to this board, the 247 composite is the standard, and at the moment, you have 2/5 with #4 already committed to TTech
