What I don't get is during Richts tenure the narrative was Georgia was a recruiting hotbed and they were underachieving by not landing highly ranked recruiting classes. Now they are landing good classes and you guys say you don't get it or they are cheating.

As for the recruiting classes:2018 was the first to load up on 5 stars. They will be upperclassmen in 2020 (zeus at RB, Salyer at RT, Campbell at CB, Adam Anderson at OLB, & Mayes at LT. We should have Lecounte as a senior from the 2017 class at S.
There will always be a big difference between upperclassmen and underclassmen. 2020 is going to be the opportunity for those 5 stars to shine.

What if I tell you since 2017 UGA's record is 36-7. During this same stretch LSU's record is 33-7. If you win the NC it would be 34-7. Congrats on a great season playing for a NC. 2017,2018 UGA came close to winning a NC.
Don't let your teams great season have you overlook what is happening in Athens.

LSU is fine as long as they get the best recruits from Louisiana. And, you should know Ed O is flat out a better coach than Kirby. Ed has whipped your asses two consecutive seasons because he's a better coach. Do we need to revisit last season when you played in Baton Rouge? Your roster was better two consecutive seasons but you couldn't tell looking at the final scores.

What's stopping Kirby from making the same sorts of hires as Orgeron? It's all coaching. Kirby could go and make an offer to some young NFL up and comer to come in and revamp his offense like Orgeron did. But, if Kirby brings Coley back...
