Bama wants him at Sam to play coverage and blitz. He feels like Bama gives him the best chance to make it to the NFL and is closest to Kirby of any coach. AU is recruiting him for the Star Hybrid position (S/LB) Therezie played most of the yr for AU but he played a lot more coverage than in the box, to me the position is very close to the type of impact Barron had for Bama

That doesn't matter, Bama made up considerable ground this past weekend, Dad's comments sounded like Bama is a very possible pick for him.

Rashaan likely will play similarly to how we will use Justin Garrett this year (unless Garrett plays exclusively LB). Garrett likely will double as a second star on the field or interesting personel groups

I mean, that is my guess

Auburn would pitch DE... I wouldnt think youd have him as a safety/star type because of how sick his pass rush is. That is his elite skill

Evans is just as elite (if not more so) in pass coverage as he is rushing the passer... and as a LB/Rover, he can do both. pLus, he's built more like a LB than a lineman.

You want Evans in a two point stance around the LOS... either team he chooses will do this.

Agreed that's why I said Barron because he played down in the box a good bit of the time, he was just a really large S prospect on the verge of being a LB's size but one of the most athletic guys on those Bama D's when he was in Ttown

You said the same thing about LF. The kid is going to AU just like LF went to LSU.

Why does this thread exist? Auburn gonna pick Auburn. Bama gonna pick Bama.

I never said anything about any of LF's fam members comments dumbass

Alabama fans: "Visit went very well and we think we have a good shot. We will see come signing day."

Auburn fans: "FU bamatards, AU lock!"

That is seriously all I have seen when it comes to conversing about where Evans will go.

he's yet to OV at auburn... nearly every kid that takes an OV to alabama comes away impressed (who wouldn't?)... I have no doubt he's still undecided, but in the end it will probably go back to the gut feeling he's had the last three months... not the feeling he had leaving tuscaloosa two days ago (IMO).

I hope he chooses Alabama, but I honestly have no idea. Would not be surprised if he chose AU.

At some point we get tired of saying the same thing over again.

-He's from Auburn
-his family is very pro-Auburn. Evans is a legacy.
-he almost committed during the season but Mom wanted him to take all his visits to make sure.
-he's been telling our commits and commits of other teams that he'll probably choose Auburn
-very good friends with Tre Williams and Roc Thomas
-He OVs Auburn next weekend.
-Everything Bama does will be sandwiched with Auburn. Visited our Athletic complex, then took OV to Bama, then OV to AU, Then Saban in-home, and lastly Gus' in-home.
-All the Auburn mods are very confident in getting Evans
-the staff is very confident in getting Evans

But yeah...congrats on the positive review of his OV.

I get most of what you are saying, but come on. Calling a kid a legacy when his father attended three semesters total at Auburn is a little bit of a stretch don't you think?

Even after his Alabama OV and the comments he made publicly, national experts are picking Auburn
