Not really. Therezie was regarded by many as the hardest hitting safety in the country when he was being recruited. He has always had a hybrid safety/linebacker skill set. Hell, he met Yeldon head up on what amounted to a linebacker blitzed and knocked him backwards on his arse. He did that to several runningbacks last year.

You really have no idea what you are talking about a lot of the time it seems.

I think its more likely you lack the ability to write what you are thinking. Since you are the only one on here always claiming everyone has a problem comprehending you.

No I agree on Therezie, he was a beast coming out of HS but still more of a DB body style missing the rover LB type skills Evans has, he is a lot better at it IMO from film I saw he's almost like a 260 lb Tsizzle pass rushing

Dude is a monster & me saying Day 1 starter has much more to do with his skillset & ability than AU's lack of talent. AU has a lot of it last year showed that, but no one with the Evans perfect skillset for the Star position.

Your posts are so insightful and bring ample info regarding said topic. Get a grip and stop acting like because you're a fan no one else knows about your team

Adams didn't play much the 2nd half of the year. Our DT rotation was nasty and will be even nastier this year.

Well no shite. You are assuming that they would both be playing the same star position

Therezie basically played the Honey Badger role in our defense.

But, feel free to continue on with your wrong analysis.

Evans is better than both Ryans and y'all are moving hosley back to corner correct? Also whitehead is garbage. If y'all land Evans I would think your coaching staff would put the best combo of players on the field instead of just playing therezie because he played there last season. That's closed minded to think they will just do that. And my point behind Lawson and Adams was trying to say he will play early on your defense because he is that caliber player. 5 star talent.

there's a difference in playing early and starting 'day 1' as some morons have been spouting off here... and it's far easier to play early along the DL (provided you're physically developed like lawson) than Safety/LB... he'll have more responsibilities and more experienced players in front of him.

bama fans thinking they know auburn's defensive personnel is laughable.

ETA: Evans has been strictly a DE in highschool... there will be a pretty significant learning curve to overcome no matter where he lands.

Aight guys, apparently we need to start recruiting Evans cause he is really good.

All in favor, say aye.

Carl Lawson and Adams essentially were co-starters with older guys on the DL. Evans would start day 1.

You don't know what you're talking about. You're comparing DLineman to a guy that's going to be at STAR. We rotate 10-12 DLineman in a game. They both started out in the rotation. Lawson eventually became the starter but we still rotated just as much. Adams was never a starter.

We don't really rotate at Star unless we have to. Evans has to come in and compete with Therezie and Garrett. Both are highly thought of by the coaches. Therezie has already produced on the field. I really doubt he would be the starter.

I'm just saying. Putting the best personnel on the field would include Evans and I think you are being prideful about your defense saying it's fine without him, I'm sure it would be but that doesn't mean he wouldn't be the best person for the job and can't make your defense better.
