From 1970-1989 prior to Spurrier landing in Florida, Florida had two seasons where they finished with 1 loss on the season 1984 and 85. They were ineligible those years. Without those two years they were 116-89-5. Not counting the two ineligible years in that 18 year period they averaged just over 6 wins a year.
Spurrier came in and changed the culture, recruiting, and built a program.

From 1966-2004 South Carolina went 211-220. That's roughly 5.5 wins a year. Was it not "normal" for Spurrier to take over that program and build it to where it is today? If so then why does Ole Miss HAVE to be cheating?
Is the argument Ole Miss doesn't have the budget to recruit like this? If that is the case then where are we getting the money to throw at all these recruits? Peyton Barber, Carl Lawson, Frank Herron, Andy Bauer. None of these guys wanted to snitch about Ole Miss offering money??? Come on son.
Using Rivals(just because its easy to pull up) here are the rankings since 2006:

2010-18
2011-19
2012-40 Freeze first class with only 6 weeks of recruiting after a 2-10 year.
2013-7
2014-Currently #14
There really isn't much to see. Freeze has been able to close on a couple more big name out of state guys that previously we would have lost.
