No. If he commits to Auburn anytime before NSD, it would still be a flip.

If it helps you sleep better at night calling it a flip more power to you. But just so you know Texas already got a new commit to replace him and will be getting a kid called Newsome soon as well. So not anything that Texas wasn't already recruiting for

He was a "commit", but he had openly said he was 50/50 and most Texas fans considered him to be 75/25 in favor of Auburn.

Nothing you said contradicts what I said.

Just recommitted to Texas. I'm shocked. I thought Auburn had him.

It seems he was torn and his mother preferred Texas. Wish him the best of luck.

I'm not so sure Auburn wanted him.

One of the main reasons Burt decommitted in the first place was because he was worried about the QB situation in Austin. That was when Gentry was still committed. Gentry bolts, leaving no QB's for the Longhorns in this class and then he recommits?

Of course, he could think Kai Locksley is going to Texas, but I don't know why he'd be more comfortable with him rather than with Gentry. Maybe someone else? Hmmm... Hi there wall, what is that writing you got there?

We definitely wanted him.

Word from our 247 site is he decommitted and committed to us behind the scenes. Our mods were on the phone with Burt getting quotes for his commitment story. But Burt decided not to go public with his commitment. Burt talked to his Mom about it and she swayed him back to Texas. Sucks. Really wanted him

Y'all can still close with an unbelievable class though unfortunately for us. I'm sure Burt was a want, but others still out there will help your team more than Burt would.
