I made a positive comment about Florida having the #8 recruiting class and was immediately met with hostility from Georgia fans who have the #1 class.

Agree.. Mullen is just an Odd guy. His post game presser after playing LSU was really bad, evasive. Having said that he can definitely coach/scheme an offense.
Florida seems to have one of LSUs historical problems..cannot seem to recruit or develop a top tier QB.
Most coaches, after a loss, at least acknowledge the other team played well.. not Mullen.
Orgeron makes a habit of commenting that the other team is/was well coached and played hard.

Just looked it up. Yall hired sorry arse Greg Knox? He was garbage when he was here at Auburn. We ad zero talent at the end of his tenure. Our leading WR his last year was a walk-on. He cant scout or recruit.

He missed on our whole RB board the last 2 years, definitely the worst recruiter on staff and at a spot where most teams have an Ace. Most of the fan base wish we would move on from him. Knoxed has become a verb for when we whiff on a target lol.

Georgia fans are terrified. You see UF fans swarming anything UGA post in this thread? Naw.
Anything positive about UF has more Georgia responses than UF fans now.
They are so mad they haven't won a title yet, and their window where UF and UT were broken has faded(UF at least). They can claim they aren't scared all they want...but they sure as hell seem defensive about literally ANYTHING posted about UF, especially positive.
It's a sad group of humans. Not all of them of course. Lot of them are cool too, but these insta -responders on any UF post are just ridiculous.

Honestly? i think we have done it for the past three years in a row and every year we keep hearing the same thing...."Florida is doing it this year!"
Maybe if Florida fans would wait to talk until their team did something, we would not be so touchy? Just a thought.
Florida come at us with the same stuff year after year.
Mullen is the better HC. Florida has the best coaches. Smart is an awful coach. Florida does more with less.

To be frank, the defensive recruiting is great. The offensive recruiting leaves much to be desired. They have done a good job supplementing with the transfer portal for the offense.
But if you are looking at offensive recruits only, it is probably worse than 8th in the SEC

6th in the SEC but 8th in the nation.
UF has some dead weight on the staff on the recruiting trail with English (Safeties) and Knox (RBs). They have not done well as primary recruiters. I like Knox as a coach but English does not have a well coached position group.
It will be interesting moving forward with Brewster as the recruiting coordinator / TE coach. He is a lot more present on social media than the guy who he replaced.

Literally one separate thread above a UGA fan was talking shite about a recent 2021 4-star commit Florida and myself and three other UGA posters put the guy in his place. Go look at that thread and reconsider your thoughts.
As to this thread, a UF guy started it and he has some truth in it. Florida struggling with recruiting as far as for what they should be able to do versus what Mullen’s staff is getting done - it’s legit. While overall the class rankings and talent is good - it’s not as good as it should be - and specifically in-state.
