How big is he going to be in 5 years with 2 more in HS and 3+ in college? Is he a DT or is he going to stay on the edge? Probably too soon to tell of course

Damn, Georgia has 8 in the top 41

Edit: and 15 in the top 100. That's just nuts.

Watch for a QB to join this list as the '24 season progresses. Briggs Cherry has been waiting in the wings, and will be taking over the QB position at Chattanooga Baylor. He's tall, but needs to put on some weight...but he's got amazing touch and vision.

Many SEC schools in Stewart's top 15 including the LSU Tigers, Texas Longhorns, Alabama Crimson Tide, Georgia Bulldogs, Auburn Tigers, and Texas A&M Aggies.

Thanks...my son is graduating in May and isn't playin in college.

As for Briggs (who my son has both played with and against)...he already has an offer from Ole Miss...so I guess you should hope he has a good season as well...(smartass).

For the people interested in the kid (that isn't my son) mentioned above. His school Chattanooga Baylor plays Rabun Gap on ESPN Sunday August 25th.

HYDRebs may be interested since Ole Miss is recruiting him pretty heavily.

LSU has a legit shot to sign the #1 recruit three years in a row. That would be pretty cool.

Do they have the same coach they had about 4 or 5 years ago? If so, he isn't one to air it out, is he?

Erik Kimrey is the HC at Baylor. He's only been there since 2022, (he was TE Coach at USCe before coming to Baylor School in Chattanooga). Their QB for the last 2 years was Whit Muschamp (Will Muschamp's Son and current Vanderbilt Freshman). He threw for around 3,200 yards in 2022 and didn't have a single game where he had under 31 attempts and won the state championship. Last season they had a bit of a step-back, losing in the championship game to McCallie. Muschamp still threw 32 passes in that game, but only had a little over 250 yards and 2 TDs.

So...they also had Joakim Dodson (Tennessee 2025 WR Commit) transfer from Collierville...I think they will air it out a bit.

Only two from Texas in top 35? That is interesting.

Gotcha. Had a relative play there, but it was before Kimrey's time and they ran, ran, ran the ball. And they had a QB that signed with Austin Peay. I believe the RB they had signed with UT.

For an update on the kid I was talking about back in March (that...once again, is not my kid). While they have been a run-heavy team. Chattanooga Baylor is undefeated and ranked #1 in the state. Briggs Cherry has thrown 19 tds, 1 int and has completed right at 71% of his passes. Of course, he is playing against defenses that are loading up to try and stop the run...but still, those are impressive numbers.

According to On3, he now has offers from Ole Miss, Louisville, Georgia Tech, and Pitt...while still being listed as a 3-star in their system. He's also visited Michigan twice and it is believed that an offer is pending from them as well.

Oh...and he's now listed as 6'4" 215 lbs. So you can forget the part earlier about needing to put on weight.
