Many SEC schools in Stewart's top 15 including the LSU Tigers, Texas Longhorns, Alabama Crimson Tide, Georgia Bulldogs, Auburn Tigers, and Texas A&M Aggies.

Interesting.

A lot of those early rankings skew heavy on states/schools with a lot of prospects because the evaluators can knock out multiple at once. A lot of those Mater Dei guys probably end up ranked lower than they were initially, for example.

His official visit (The college pays for all of the recruit's expenses, including transportation, food, and lodging), most likely with his family, to Columbus will be on November 30th. The visit this weekend is an unofficial visit (The recruit and their parents pay for all expenses).

You really think they pay their own way on these visits?

(Hint: they definitely do not, especially as a 5-star everyone wants)

You might be right. However, last year hundreds of violations occurred in Michigan, Tennessee.. football program were investigated by NCAA. and the resulting violations included impermissible hotel room nights, impermissible meals, instances of providing impermissible entertainment or other benefits, and impermissible game day parking. As part of the NCAA's sanctions for recruiting violations, Michigan football program is prohibited from allowing unofficial visits for two weeks during the 2024-2025 academic year. I think most schools will be more careful now.

If you follow recruiting at all you would know I'm definitely right there. Stewarts family is not ponying up many thousands of dollars to fly around the country to visit places unofficially. I would bet they are actually making money on these trips, easily.

Watch for a QB to join this list as the '24 season progresses. Briggs Cherry has been waiting in the wings, and will be taking over the QB position at Chattanooga Baylor. He's tall, but needs to put on some weight...but he's got amazing touch and vision.

Yet another update from the kid I have been receiving grief for touting to be on the lookout for in the 2026 class.

Last Friday in the Quarter Finals he threw for 334 yards and 5 TDs against Memphis University School...which is impressive. His number at halftime (before they took the foot off the gas)...13-16 for 318 yards and 4 tds.
