Not that stars mean anything at the end of the day though. So does he enroll in summer? If so does DC get a leg up after going through spring?

I don't think its fear you are reading as much as it is stupidity, and from everybody, not just bama fans. I think its really something that after the year we just had in the SEC with the caliber of QBs and now they are all leaving at the same time, that everyone thinks the new guy coming in to their school will be all world and not skip a beat.

He enrolls in the summer. As much as I'd love to see DC come out of spring the favorite, Saban wont hand the keys to the Ferrari to a freshman. I'm guessing Alec Morris will come out of spring as the competitor to Coker. Dark horse candidate would be Cooper Bateman.

Why are you gumps so jacked for this guy? He wasn't highly rated out of HS.

The last two coaches to win a NC wanted him, I don't care what he was rated by a group of nerds who probably didn't even play football

HOLY GOD, how many times is this question going to be asked? We're excited to get a good prospect. Nobody knows how good he'll be. Our QB situation is unknown, to say the least. It's good to get another option. And, as people have said OVER AND OVER, he probably would have been much more highly rated in HS if he had played in an offense that ever threw the ball. He's garnered plenty of praise once people have seen him. He had, and still has, offers from the last two NC teams. That should tell you he has talent.
