My stance on Gary has not changed. #Auburn-#Michigan till the end. #UGA #OSU #Bama heavily involved as well.

No they didn't
The same could be said about LSU in 07 or do you not see how silly your argument is. The only people in 04 when the games and the polls were happening outside of AU fans thought AU should be in that game and had OU not been drug like a wet mule no one would have went back and tried to say well you know that AU team wasn't half bad. At the time, the media and everyone felt like OU vs USC was the right matchup so it was indeed the right matchup. 1 vs 2 the entire year and both went undefeated. We could go back and say well in 2012 Notre Dame clearly sucked dick so Georgia should have gotten a rematch with Bama because we were actually competitve vs Bama and go hindsight every year but that isn't the way it works. AU didn't deserve it at the time and thats the way it is.

You have no clue if you think the 04 team was better than the 05 and 07 team.
You're right there is a massive difference between all those two loss teams.
ETA: Sorry, forgot 2005 was actually a 3 loss team.

Despite that utter butchery of the English language I think what you were trying to say is that only AU fans thought AU should be in the title game. The fact is many, many voters had Auburn ahead of Oklahoma in the polls. OU finished like 20 total points ahead of AU in the final human poll and 9 voters selected AU ahead of not only OU but the greatest team ever USC.

You're right, can't fault either of them. Somebody was going to get screwed, it was us. Doesn't mean our 2004 team wasn't the best or accomplished any less. They did everything possible and that's all any team can do. There is a reason no other sport in the world makes it possible for a team to be perfect and not win the "championship". It's a joke.

God your comparisons just keep getting worse. ND deserved it, they went undefeated, UGA lost two games and they had their shot. Had they beat bama they would have been in the title game. The thing with 2004 AU is they never had a shot regardless of what happened on the field. I don't understand why that is so hard for you to comprehend?

He's going to bama or Michigan (probably Michigan). There.

You miss the point, you and others like you obviously have/had flawed reasoning and you're unintentionally proving my point for me. Humans, and lol computers, can not watch a couple of games and automatically tell who is better.
The voters obviously got it wrong in 2004.
Meh, it was a flaw in the system we saw until very recently. If teams started preseason ranked one and two, they would stay that way if undefeated.
Now we have the four team playoff at least.

I said it earlier in this thread, before the derailment, but I seriously doubt Gary signs with Alabama. I fully expect him to go to Michigan.

He has been confirmed to camping at LSU for their OL/DL camp also on the 16th and 17th I believe. (Not sure what the date is but he has been confirmed for 2 days). Sorry bro looks like your hopes were way too far up.

Mama likes Auburn. I'll take it. Won't always win the battle, but surely doesn't hurt.

"Nations #1 recruit Rashan Gary sets 5 day recruiting trip. Several teams to be included."
This would be the correct thread title then?

I just read an article where his mother said Michigan and Auburn were her two favorite schools, and the kid said his mother's opinion is very important to him

If mama Gary comes to LSU with him, look out. Miles is a wizard with Mama's.
I doubt she will make the trip though.

She probably hasn't had a quality meeting with the snake oil salesman yet.
