This is only a three star but don't let that fool you, he is going to be pretty good.
And don't let it be mistaken, both Ole Miss and State wanted him. He may not be that 5 star that everyone wants but he is definitely someone both State and Ole Miss wanted as did Texas.
No one knew where he was going all the way to when he signed. Playing time was attractive at Ole Miss. State seems to already have a good DL room but in the end he chose State. It is where he wanted to be all along as he is a legacy but Ole Miss almost got him anyway. Don't let them act like he didn't mean anything because I know better.

Ole miss definitely wanted him but his family is all state and I believe state was recruiting him first so that’s tough to overcome. But this is not the same as Chris jones. Props to mullen for realizing the talent jones had before he shot up rankings, but jones was like the number 2 overall recruit I believe at the end so Davis doesn’t belong in that conversation.
