No D-lineman from MS is going to Oregon. I like the program, but it's in a league where defense is optional.

might very well end up being the best player to come out of mississippi in this class

Lol he's probably in the top 5 though. Cross is the best player in the state and Pickering is probably #2.

Did you read my post? I said Pickering is a long shot. However, the two DBs are a possibility.

Pickering is a no shot for the Ducks, mang. If it weren't MSU, it'd be Bama, if not Bama, it'd be LSU, or Florida.

Now, what DB's are you speaking of?

James and Emerson

If Pickering visits he is a long shot.

I hope he visits, I doubt he's ever been out that way before. Would be a nice change of scenery. Picturesque part of the country.

Emerson is underrated, not sure why at 6'2 185.

I think the trip is set. As far as Emerson and James go, I think they are a take if they want a spot.

They are both very good players. James is very very good.

All the recruiting Gurus are saying that Moore is falling out of favor with the staff. That he is playing shenanigans and that they don't have time for that. He is a roster spot that we can fill with other guys. He is the lowest on the totem poll in regards to DL and his senior season isn't helping him out. If he wants a spot he can have it but we aren't going to cry over it him not taking it. He is replaceable in other words. We expect a high level of play from our DL and have some of the best in the NFL. If he isn't willing to put in the work we don't want him.

There it is, flip imminent now that the “we don’t want him” narrative has set in

Didn't I read he was coming back from a torn ACL this year? I thought I also read he was looking pretty good in all star game practice.

I get what you're saying, but it seems like you're losing Pickering, so I'm not sure why you don't care if Moore flips too.

Either Auburn or Us 60/40 in favor of Auburn if he flips, Unless Bogle shocks the world today, then 99/1 in favor of Auburn.

pickering isn't going anywhere. We'll be fine and likely close out on him. Byron Young is supposedly in the Mix. I guess we'll see on Moore. If he signs with us we will have the best DL in the country again in 3 years and 4 years if he decides to stay an extra year to build his draft stock. He should think about this a lot. We are finally signing guys that wanna work. He'll come around. Only team i'm worried about is Bama. It ain't far from Louisville.

These DL have become divas and for good reason. IMO they are the most important position in the game. They can play recruiting tricks because big bodies are needed. The stuff changes week to week. Charles Moore didn't play in the UA game he only practiced. Maybe he tweeked something in practice.

Decommitted today. Didn’t sound like MSU is closed out of it. Left the door wide open to recommit but we’ll see what happens.

If we loose Moore and miss on Byron Young, very serious.
