Word on the MSU boards is that the de-Commitment has Dan Mullen's MO all over it. Plus he is visiting Florida this weekend.

UF has a huge need at DL for this class. Only one true DL signee/commit right now. Plenty of edge DE/OLB guys

If he doesn’t commit to UF after this weekend I think he ends up back at Staye.

But we’ll see, he is a wild card.

Sounds to me like to me our accounting department found a glitch from Dan Mullen days. We fixed the glitch and he got processed. Seems like Byron Young is a take if he wants and we have elected to sign Michael Lockhart instead. I could be wrong though. I'm not worried about our DL we have a good DC and proven defensive line coach

Lockhart looks like he has lots of upside.

Curious why State fans don't seem to think AU is a legit threat?

Everyone on AU side is reporting Tigers probably team to beat right now & view Tennessee as biggest threat

If its the same stuff I've seen, it's just butthurt MSU fans trying to blame Mullen for one last thing.

I haven't seen anything from UF that they feel remotely confident. Pretty much everyone is still at DEFCON 1 over how bleak the DL picture is.

Did y’all pass on Dorlus or was that WDWHA message board chatter?

Dorlus was a take all the way, as far as I knew. They were recruiting him hard.

I believe I said on here before, they might have been slow playing him or he might have gotten the impression he was just a placeholder simply because the DL board was so big, but given that they weren't confident on anyone afaik, I think he was genuinely a priority.

Moore told 247 that his top 3 in order is AU, TEN & FSU

That Vols OV will be one to watch for sure

sounds like it is Auburn. I don't like Auburn recruiting in our backyard... maybe this trade of instate players will backfire for them.

4/5 of the top DL from MS this class might be heading to the state of Alabama. I thought y'all were DLU now, what gives?

Lot or talk this past off-season about what a historic instate class this is for the state of MS and how State was going to clean up and it was going to take y'all to the next level. Now it looks like out of the whole top 10 y'all are only getting Pickering and Cross. This must be a very disappointing recruiting class for y'all.

Top 5 DL from MS this class per 247 composite:

1. Nathan Pickering- MSU
2. Byron Young- Bama
3. Jaren Handy- Auburn
4. Charles Moore- possibly Auburn
5. Derick Hall- Auburn
