Yeah probably least confident on Sampson but one of those “you never know”. Saban has had some impressive pulls from Louisiana but I think he signs with LSU.

Given the current state of LSU and Alabama's WR rooms and where they'll be in 2023, plus the LSU-CHS relationship, getting Sampson would be the most impressive pull Saban has ever gotten.

Frankly, I think it's more likely that LSU gets Sampson and the odd man out from the LA receivers that Alabama just signed comes back home.

LSU only has 1 commit for 2023, and it's Omarion Miller. Sucks that the 2 BR quarterbacks are committed elsewhere, but that is a byproduct of signing Howard. We still have a chance to flip one or the other.

Because the new OL coach seems to like him more than the departing one.

I mean nothings ever a guarantee but word out of Lakeland is that McClain doesn’t like that everyone knew where he’s going so he’s just gonna keep publicly flirting with random schools until he signs with UF. Started with Miami, now looks like it’s moving to Georgia which I’m admittedly slightly less comfortable with

McElderry already told new Bama OL coach he is sticking with the commit to the Dawgs.

Maybe for now. Alabama is squarely in the mix.

You will notice he is not in the UGA mock class I posted.

Recruiting is fluid...

Is Pearce Spurlin expected to be a WR? He’s already committed showing as TE. Just curious.

It's possible. It just depends on how his body develops.

One of the Georgia insiders feel like he might stick, but more likely to flip. We'll see.

He's trolling 247 UF's new recruiting guy, who CB'd everybody to UF.

The odd man out on the Alabama receivers depth chart appears to be Agiye Hall. Apparently he isn't happy at Alabama and Saban wasn't happy with his effort in the national title game after complaining about lack of playing time. He dropped 2 td passes in that game.

He's from the state of FLorida and UF recruited him. I woldn't be surprised to see him transfer there. Good luck to the young man wherever he lands.

This is going to be the way of the world in every program moving forward. Kids will hardly be patient in waiting their turn and will find somewhere they can play. Roster turnover from year to year will be incredible.

Arkansas has 3 4* TEs committed?

Damn, do you expect to lose one of them?

My Nico prediction is looking rough

Alabama reportedly jumps Georgia as presumed favorites for Arch Manning

quote:

It’s just March, but there appear to be some who think that there’s a new favorite for one of the most coveted prospects in history.

Arch Manning, the grandson Archie, of a cultural icon and nephew of two Super Bowl winners, Peyton and Eli, is favorited to Alabama, per On3's latest update.

Georgia had originally been in the lead a few weeks ago, but the site’s algorithm — which features machine learning, expert predictions and visits — has given the advantage to the Crimson Tide. Again, it’s just March.

Alabama has the best odds at 30.1%. Then Georgia (24.9%), Texas (19.6%), Ole Miss (12.9%), per the site. Manning is set to visit the Longhorns later for the third time this month.

Manning’s timeline has been delayed through Isidore (La.) Newman’s basketball season. Nelson Stewart, Manning’s football coach, told WGNO.

“He really is open,” said Stewart. “His father came out with a statement basically saying a lot of that is just speculation.”

What Stewart is referring to is when Manning’s father, Cooper, told 247Sports that an article stating Manning was down to two finalists, Texas and Florida, was false.

As Manning and Newman work through the LHSAA playoffs, speculation will likely follow 247Sports Composite’s No. 1 ranked prospect and quarterback.

Alabama is in the mix for many of 2023's top signal-callers. Fourth-ranked Nicholaus Iamaleava has visited Tuscaloosa. Ninth-ranked Dylan Lonergan has a trip planned for April.

This weekend, for Junior Day, Texas A&M commit and eighth-ranked quarterback Eli Holstein will be in attendance.

You know the depth chart better than me.

LSU will have reps available for whoever signs for 2023. Possibly 1 of 3 starters remaining, and we're actually a little thin at WR right now.

You can add McClain to that list as well.
