I would like to see Overton at A&M but the reclassification to 22 hurts that prospect.

UGA has had to pass. It’s all about who is willing to take on the brother and we simply aren’t in position to play that game (like A&M we’ve got some roster subtractions to make and we still need to fill some spots in the portal, too)

Assuming we get Overton, defense class only would be 4th (299.25 points). Just the DL class would be 39th (198.64 points).

Can't they just give him a PWO spot and get his tuition paid for with NIL money? Or is the a pride thing where the family wants him to be on scholarship?

Idk but I’d assume that even if UGA offered a PWO spot, someone else could/would offer a full scholly and sweeten the deal. Nevermind that I think we just don’t really want his brother, period. We’ve got a good thing going with our DL unit right now and letting a guy buy his way in with anything other than his own merits would rock the boat in a way that Kirby has done well to avoid since his 2018 class (Fields, Cox, etc)

Without removing ourselves, we'd be #5 with D alone and #40 with DL alone.

Basically insane
They also signed 2 top 40 players the year before. I know dline players rotate but there’s no way all are sticking around. Props to them for competing tho
And obviously about to sign another 5* to make 8 total

Any Aggie who thinks all these 5 star recruits are signing for the superior coaching of a coach who hasn’t had more than 8 wins in 4 seasons and isn’t coming to A@M a becuase of money should just throw themselves off a bridge…… because your going to hell either way.
