What's the word on this kid? Why did he leave LSU?
Bama offered him. He was pretty highly rated coming out of high school.
If he didn't work out at LSU, I doubt he works out at Bama, but Saban knows best.

Fell on the depth chart behind Greedy Williams and Kristina Fulton. Both of them have since been passed by freshmen Kary Vincent.
He's a great talent, just buried in a depth chart. Similar to Kendall Sheffield behind Humphrey and Minkah.

He played as a true frosh and would have had a significant role this year. Reading the tea leaves it was a combo of fighting for PT and some off the field issues. Those never came to light but he spent time in the doghouse.
He can definitely play at Bama and if anyone can keep him straight it's lil Nicky. LSU will be fine without him but I'd rather he stay out the SEC, especially Bama.

People will say he left due to the depth chart but I don't believe that's the case. I think he would have saw significant playing time this season behind Kevin Toliver and Donte Jackson and possibly a starter on the boundary in the nickel package.
It's a complete mystery to me but I did read something about distractions, that same person said he wouldn't rule out Saivion returning to LSU.

I was surprised to see Bama offered because he didn't live up to expectations at LSU. I know he was only on the team for one season, but him not pushing for a starting spot was disappointing.

Certain people insinuated failed drug tests, weed.
Though he didn't get caught with it and an illegal firearm in North Louisiana, so IDK that he is Bama material...

Mods on 247 hinted a while back that it was definitely off-field issues is why he left but they never released exactly what they are. Generally speaking you assume drugs and/or grades.
Edit - and actually someone just flat out said the guy couldn't pass drug tests here. So Bama you shouldn't have anything to worry about.
