Again Henry BROKE THE NATIONAL RUSHING RECORD and had over 14K yds during his career
And Tebow was arguably the greatest CFB QB of all time but doesn't have what it takes to be a backup in the NFL. Some players skill sets just don't transfer. We'll see how Henry does when he's not bigger than 90% of defenders that he'll face.
ETA: Not to mention Henry's senior season he had 464 carries for 4260 yds 9.18 ypc.
Fournette went for 2155 yds on 203 carries this past season a 10.6 ypc.

No sir our Jack OLB in this years class was another La kid from Uhigh
Tim Williams
Jonathan Allen might factor in some bit I see him maintaining more of a Hightower role where he learns 4th man on the line DE for dime and nickel and ILB positions as well, signing Tim was so important for that reason, it gives staff the free reign to train and teach Allen more than one position.
So long story short, no he won't be a Jack OLB, he will more than likely never play D while at Bama, only other positions I could see him switching to would be either a Vernon Davis type TE that we use in the slot etc, or HBack (FB/TE Hybrid)
And you guys do realize the reason what he was bigger was because he's like 6'3 245 right? He would've looked the same in almost any state against even the toughest competition, dude is a manchild. He is already one of Cochrans favorites because like Trent he won't leave the weight room.

Fournette is one of the best RB's to come out in a while. Folks from other places may disagree, for whatever reason, but LF is a very special player. Not sure if the comparison to AD is fair to him, or anyone else in HS.

The point is, Fred Rouse was once the best receiver to come along since moss, and now he's flipping burgers.
It's beyond stupid to say jimmy recruit is going to surely be a stud and dominate the league. High school film is all you have to go by, but in the end it's still only high school film, you never know how a kid will transition into the best league in the game.
LF looks like he has all the tools to be a big time player in this league, but he is in high school. I'm not ready to say he's better than yeldon, because I've seen what yeldon can do in this league. I understand lsu fans are excited about the though of getting him, and that has a lot to do with the lavish praise. If Leonard Fournette was the same kid in Los Angeles leaning towards USC, I find it very hard to believe lsu or any other fans on this board would be saying, "yea he's better than yeldon, I mean yeldon is good but this kid is in a league of his own. He's the best since Peterson."
How ridiculous does that sound? It's as if you've all never seen a 5* recruit flop out or not reach his expectations in the SEC. It happens every year and y'all are speaking in absolutes regarding fournette.

I agree that LF has to prove himself just like every other player once they get to college. But just from a talent standpoint and the mindset this kid has, he's a very rare football player that you may see once every 15-20 years

That is literally insane. You are saying he is the best player to come out of HS in the past 15-20 years!! He is an amazing talent that any fan base would love to have, but reality check - he is not even the #1 rated prospect in this class!! (by any rating service!!)

You were just asking about him in another thread and now I guess you've got him all figured out

And Derrick Henry could be serving fries at McDonalds in Florida in two years for a you know because he couldn't cut it on the field or in the classroom
And lol at 'the league'. Mark Ingram won a heisman and hasnt done shite in the NFL STILL. Tebow didn't amount to anything and he ran shite like a God in the SEC
One good year for Yeldon =/= proving himself
Just showing you some of the cases to be made if you're gonna put down the LF hype

Maybe to Bama fans. I never heard LSU fans talk about previous RB recruits that way.
