I've been hearing he may be the best RB prospect since Adrian Peterson. That is some pretty high praise. I've heard a lot about Sony Michel in South Florida because the recruiting relationship with him and the Dawgs. But has anyone seen Fournette live? Is the AP talk just hype?

I hear it's going to be almost impossible to sway him from the Bayou. Am I missing anything here?

Fournette is a great RB, but LSU fans are hyping him up WAY too much.

Listen, kid had 50 offers after his freshman year. His play speaks for itself.

It's good to see bama fans have already given up on getting the #1 RB in the nation.

UA has more depth at RB then they've had in years. Tough sale.

That too. Could go six or seven deep next year if they wanted to.

Unless LF has some infatuation with another school that we don't know of yet or someone offers a relative/girlfriend something, it's unlikely he leaves La.

Someone as good as he is isn't scared of competion. Also, if Frank Wilson leaves LSU after this season, it could get interesting.

If you watch film he's pretty much identical to TJ Yeldon a little more powerful and less shifty speedy type run style, could he be the best to come out of La in a very long time? Sure but AD comparisons are a little much IMO also it will be a battle to keep him in La a couple schools really pique his interest other than the bayou bengals and a few other schools have obviously made him a priority. I could see him ending up #3 overall player but don't think he will jump over Da'Shawn Hand & Lorenzo Carter

havent seen any website where carter is ahead of him you just makin shite up. at this point in his career he is considered better than yeldon was going into his senior year. and is a more highly regarded recruit.

I agree with him not being scared of competition that is why he is giving Bama such a hard look

Burton Burns and the Sylve connection will help Bama not sure if that'll be enough though

How do LSU fans think it will affect LF if LSU loses like 5 or 6 games this year? Very possible since its a rebuilding yr for LSU

Also, Cam Cameron loves to throw the ball. You can't open up the O without taking touches away from your RB's.

This is true about Yeldon but TJ had one of the greatest Sr seasons in Al state history when they finally started handing the ball off to him more and I wasn't comparing their accomplishments just running style man

And I said that about Carter because it's tougher as a RB to stay ranked that high but its easy for a DL especially a pass rush specialist like Carter to move way up (Last 3 or 4 yrs #1 overall player has been a DE or pass rusher, not since Bryce Brown in 08 I think)

5 or 6 losses bucc?

C'mon man.

Lsu only lost 5 when they had freshman pick 6 lee and Mallory/peveto running the d in 2008.

That shits not happening with a returning starter SR QB and chavis running the d.

Even if lsu has a "down" year and losses 3 or 4, I think he still comes unless someone is offering something of monetary gain, and wilson leaves, or like I said he's grown up enamored with another school

Gotta look at LSU's schedule but I know they lost a lot going on to this year you're right 6 losses might be a bit much but a mediocre year by LSU's standards is what I meant

And I agree Auce they'll run it way less than anyone thinks if Cam is given full reign of the O

Oh don't be so asshurt. Carter is ranked #3 overall on 247, right behind Fournette. It wouldn't be out of the question for him to move ahead of him.
