The thing that strikes me is how LSU constantly said they had the best backfield because they had 5 SEC caliber running backs.

Now it's all about potentially having the best 1 running back.

Just make up your mind already

Don't see why the two have to be mutually exclusive. Regardless of your RB philosophy, if you have a legitimate chance to get the best RB in the nation, you get him.

If you watch film he's pretty much identical to TJ Yeldon a little more powerful and less shifty speedy type run style, could he be the best to come out of La in a very long time? Sure but AD comparisons are a little much IMO

He runs a lot like AD coming out of HS. AD was 6'1", 220, Fournette is 6'1", 225. Both are upright runners with good lateral movement and good vision. Both have blazing speed.

IMO the comparison is a good one.

Fournette

Peterson in high school

I know man this recruiting battle is gonna be fun haha just wait till the 1st time he actually camps at Bama (He was supposed to come to a camp and LSU staff and a coach from his HS wouldn't let him leave LSU campus and we're begging him or something not to go lol that was the story I believe but it's been a while since that happened). I believe that was last Summer and he was leaving LSU camp to drive straight over to Ttown.

Needless to say this recruitment will be fun, a lot of LSU guys are uptight about it already and we got a whole year guys

And I'll add a note...if he is the second coming of Adrian Peterson then you gotta think RBU of this decade has to have a shot

yeah his running style is similar to AD. Which then turns into people thinking LSU fans are claiming he's the best RB since AD.

Gotta love the internet.

your homerism knows no bounds

Yea, if you buy into rumors and internet BS. Think about Robert Nkemdiche's recruitment once it was evident he was ole miss bound. It'll be simmilar but without the brother. Everybody knows what's up, but yall can believe whatever you want.

I hate to burst your bubble but LSU fans aren't really worried about it. Most consider it simply a formality that he commits to us at an All American game.

Keep pretending yall are making LSU sweat it out though. I'm sure he'll take his visits, go to some camps etc simply out of respect because of how hard other coaches are gonna hound him, but like I said, you can spin it and believe whatever you want.

I can't wait to hear all your insider stories like how LSU held him hostage and wouldn't let him attend a camp at bama, I guess our coaches are scared to death since Bama lands every kid they offer in Lousisiana.

Fournette is a great RB, but LSU fans are hyping him up WAY too much.

How is saying a kid will be very good "hyping too much"?

He's better than Lacy, I can tell you that

I remember LF going to LSU's Boys From the Boot and not going to Bama's junior day.

the story that you believe about LSU's coaches and one of LF's high school coaches begging him not to go to Bama's Junior day is the part that escapes my memory.........mostly because it didn't happen
