Not if Hootie's mama has her way. She wants her boy to stay home. And what mama wants, mama gets.

Da'Shawn Hand
Spending five days at Alabama this week. We seems to be in excellent shape. From the D.C. area, where we've recruited very well lately. Of course, Alabama has looked good early for Clowney and Nkemdiche the past two classes. Hand is a similar high profile DE.

Which one is he more similar to? I've heard the name, just not very familiar with him.

I think he's more like Nkemdiche.

Gotcha.
Louisiana's '14 class has really high level guys, I'm anxious to see how deep it really is. There's already a whole bunch of guys we know about, but that first Junior day in February still manages to surprise us every year.

Hand is likely another Bama/VT battle. OSU could sneak in as well. Based on what we know right now. I like Bama's chances.
Voorhies is a stud. Could be a top end S or WR. Wants to play WR. LSU sits in a good spot for him as of now. I never trust MS kids though. He is from the coast, so a little better odds.

Voorhies did a 247 interview with Ole Miss writers where he didn't sound too enthused about LSU. Kind of like "yeah LSU is close but i was never a fan and i don't care if the school i go to wins so I like Ole Miss."

He has a way with twisting words in his articles. Would wait till Voorhies is interviewed by the State/LSU writers before I write him off.
I fully expect him to be at LSU, but would love to have him in Starkville. One BRUTAL drive from Woodville to Stark or Oxford though.

The Berry twins (younger brother of Eric Berry) - AU Locks because they're extremely good friends with J. Holsey AND Trooper recruited Eric to Tennessee. It's AU and Tennessee race, but just can't see them deciding against playing with one of there best friends (apparently they are closer than most give them credit for)

I haven't heard that they are AU locks. You are in for a rude awakening.

As long as we keep Trooper we are the favorites.

raekwon macmillan. 5* on 247. ilb from georgia. seems to have uga and osu out front early
He talked about playing with Reuben Foster in college. I'd like to have him at Bama. Great prospect.

Big difference in locks and favorites, but it will undoubtedly come down to UT and AU.

Sorry, lock was a bad word to use. I have heard that them and Holsey are awfully good friends though. AU and Tenn should have a good battle for them, I wonder if they plan to commit early?
