The word on Texags is that he was really tight with Ishmael Aristide, who just left for a promotion at Miami.
Very odd to say the least. He was locked in to A&M for some time.

That, and because OU pulled their offer. At least, that's what OU mods said when Daniels committed to A&M. We'll see if OU coaches change their mind and decide to try and get him after all.

Doesn’t make any sense that they’d pull the offer of the number 1 player in their state. Probably just an excuse because he pick y’all over them.

A lot of times, analysts and GAs talk to recruits as much or more than the on field coaches. LSU has had numerous recruits talk up GAs like Kelvin Shepard and Christian Lacouture

People dont realize the time some of the analysts put into recruiting.
I know Austin Thomas has been absolutely huge in helping us get some players in the past. Namely Jacob Phillips and Jacoby Stevens

Oklahoma tampered with him, which they are getting better and better at doing. The OU sites knew about this first for a reason

I think he was homesick and is using Ish as a way out. I also think teams have continued to recruit him after signing especially that twerp at Oklahoma.

Was he even on campus? Seems like they wouldn't want to let him out if he was on campus because he would probably be a counter at that point.

It def happens LSU got Arik Gilbert because of a analyst name John Decoster and multiple dline commits have mentioned Christian Locature

The only thing I feel certain about is whatever happened isn't public knowledge. Way too many really unusual things in this but in the end if he doesn't want to go to A&M then so be it.

Yeah weird choice but it appears his bit about being homesick might be true. This kid was maybe my favorite commit in our class, was really excited to see how Elko was going to use him
