That, and because OU pulled their offer. At least, that's what OU mods said when Daniels committed to A&M. We'll see if OU coaches change their mind and decide to try and get him after all.

A lot of times, analysts and GAs talk to recruits as much or more than the on field coaches. LSU has had numerous recruits talk up GAs like Kelvin Shepard and Christian Lacouture

People dont realize the time some of the analysts put into recruiting.
I know Austin Thomas has been absolutely huge in helping us get some players in the past. Namely Jacob Phillips and Jacoby Stevens

Was he even on campus? Seems like they wouldn't want to let him out if he was on campus because he would probably be a counter at that point.
