We literally have 2 of the top 5 safeties in the country signed and another instate kid who is bigger stronger faster than Gilbert.
There is no reason to take a 4th Safety when we need OL and maybe a transfer LB.

Gilbert has the skills for a nickel cornerback, which we need pretty badly. Have you not looked at the amount of receivers that are being played by our competition yet?

No. But they offered and accepted commitments from Sage Ryan, Derrick Davis, and Matthew Langlois before even offering Gilbert
