Getting coached by Tashard Choice is a good career decision, he's had 4 RB drafted in the last two years, five if you count Gibbs (who he landed at GT).

Lindsey from Alexandria was the other option so my guess is if LSU wanted Simon then it would have cost them more then they were willing to go to

That or the talent gap between the two wasn’t enough to warrant the extra effort (whether it be money, time, etc.) in comparison to other positions

It's now always about nil. Texas has a good staff and a good offense. Sarkisian is a well respected offensive mind.
Seems like things soured with Simon and lsu. He probably didn't want lsu to take anymore backs and they said fu. That is where the priority comment comes fr9m imo.

Not so sure. Our priority Rb is Berry. Makes sense he feels like second fiddle to him since that’s where our staff’s primary attention was.
I think Texas is a good fit for him and wish him luck!

Bingo. Either shite or get off the pot. You either wanted to commit here or you didn’t. We’ll continue to recruit him but I’d expect us to sign the two commits and possibly get a portal guy next year.

Fans thought they were stacked post-Clyde & the RB has been mid.
Simon is the best back in the state and LSU had committed to a lesser player in Lindsey, you always want to get the state’s best guys.
