Wow that is just crazy! A total trash parent right there. How could anyone do that to their son on national live tv?

Definitely a bad move on the mom. Buts that's between the kid and her. To ask him to discuss why his mom left(when he might not even know) seconds after he made his decision is just wrong.

"Hey you just made one of the biggest decisions of your life, but can you take a second to discuss why your mom sucks for us here on national TV?"

No class.

This is true about Copeland.

Still fricked up by his mom. Like if she was crying or something and didn't want to do it in front of the TV, that would be semi-understandable, but you could clearly see she was mad about the decision. So yeah, pretty fricked up.

Agreed. But this is exactly what ESPN wants.

Didn't watch it, but was mom not the one pictured earlier in the thread wearing the TN beanie? Did those two copy Quay and throw their hats?

I think they were honestly just caught off guard. I mean, I wouldn't have asked him about it because I like to think I'm observant every now and then

His mom knew they were on national TV. She needs to be a better mom than that. I understand it's hard, but that kid has to live with that moment for the rest of his life and the questions that go with it.

She came back to hug him and he was crying like a baby :/

a-hole hurt her son's feelings live on TV

For real, though. I hold grudges like a sum'bitch. My mom would be getting a cold shoulder from me for a WHILE.

I said to relax because you can never judge a coach off the 1st brief year of recruiting. If y'all struggle next year a la Coach O, maybe there's a little need to panic.

Was he playing the games, or is it clear now that he was reacting to pressure from his fam? Nobody wanted him at Florida, they were all shocked. They either wanted Bama or Tenn
