technically, the bump was before the date he committed (by two days), but the 247 could've already gotten wind of it and bumped it before hand.

Surely you can find a better example than this. The player is still 3 stars and he got a .1 astronomical bump.
I thought I was going to see a 3 star player become a 4 or 5 star player overnight.

I would say he's overated in general but a solid back. Big fish in a small pond so he looks good but the comp is terrible.
