We are currently 11 on Rivals and 13 on Scout... With all the doom and gloom, I am an 8... Wish we had gotten Goldman, would have put us in top 10...

Whaddya think the Dubose and Shula yrs were? That was too long of a break. Got some balancing out to do now.
I'm only 22 and I didn't get hardcore into college football until about 2005. So I had 05-07 of irrelevant Bama in the time that I've been a big college football fan. Hardly enough for this guy

but seriously Saban and Co. are just recruiting monsters. Its freaking ridiculous that year after year, he's pulling in top recruiting classes.

Yep...still waiting to see what Diggs, Diamond and Kozan do. Fingers crossed.

Florida was in the running for 7 highly ranked recruits and landed just one of them.

Losing out on DGB late and Courtney Gardner not taking a f'ing Algebra class to get him in to the SEC kind of killed my mood today.
If we land Diamond on Friday though I will sky rocket to an 8 easily.

I am 9.87 happy with Bama's class.
I am 9.91 happy with AU's class.

Ditto. And if they had missed on Young it would have been a 10.
I had more fun watching their boards melt down than I did hanging out at BOL.
Yall are pretty sad.

6 no depth in this class but we filled needs at OT D line RB and DB. He only had 6 weeks and only 3 were not dead weeks so I feel good next year will be much better

I'm actually thrilled. And you're FOS if you say you wouldn't be pretty excited about Bama falling flat on their face on NSD after being promised a "Christmas Morning" type day.
It's been great.

This isn't good enough. DGB was more embarrassing than anything. We'll be fine at WR, although he would have been a difference maker. I mean, losing a high profile player is one thing, but losing him to a school/program like Mizzou is about is bad as it gets. Aside from that we continue to get a bunch of 3-stars and a few 4-stars but no elite-type players. I have to admit i'm ready to have less of a "coach em up" burden and have more 4- and 5-stars that don't need a much development.
21 wins in 2 years including a BCS bowl and another bowl with 2 top-10 teams plus our facilities and coaching staff should yield more.

You people crack me up. We have NEVER recruited well. Without a team of hired gun recruiters, it's going to take more than back-to-back 10 win seasons to get the elite kids to come to Fayetteville, AR year in and year out.
Oregon has been a top program for close to a decade now and they are just now starting to see that reflect in their recruiting. We had more 4 and 5* guys looking at us than ever before this year. I imagine it will be the same next year but we will start to land a couple more each season IF we keep on winning.

Depending on how the saga with JHC's gramps goes (real pain in the arse he's being right now), I'd say an 8. I'm a little miffed that we only have 19 commits, but all 19 could/should be legit ball players for us

Agreed...kudos to Bama for the ruthless nature in which they do everything...if that's what it takes to get top classes every year, maybe Auburn ought to find them some leadership with no moral compass whatsoever. You would think, consistent success, fine track record of putting players in the NFL, rich history, etc...would be enough to sell to recruits sufficient to stock the cupboard...lying to recruits and pulling offers from committed recruits to replace with better players...I don't know if it will bite Bama or not, but the hypocrisy is mind boggling.
Oh...and about y'all being happier at Auburn's failure to sign a better class than you are at Bama's success....well first, that's just typical. Second...we have 1 5*, 11 4*'s and 8 3*'s..I don't think we get Diamond but have a very good shot at 5* badass Diggs..and did it without lying to recruits and burning bridges on a public stage. We'll rank somewhere between 12 and 7. While we are all a bit disappointed, I cannot for the life of me imagine why you teabagging cockknockers and doing backflips.

If we kept everyone it would be a 9 or 10, but given the coaching change I think we did well enough.

Other than Yeldon, I couldn't name a single recruit yall signed. I try not to worry too much about little brother.....

Oh, and on Auburn's class. I'd say 8 would be about right.
