Give me BP and his crappy recruiting for 10 win seasons over Bert who sucks at everything. If BP couldn't recruit and Bert can, why are we still almost last in the SEC in recruiting. 3-9 ring a bell

no question arkansas's staff is better at recruiting than MSU... pittman alone can outrecruit all of MSU's offensive assistants. and bret is a much better salesman than mullen.

the good recruiters who do end up at MSU don't stay very long... see tim brewster.

You guys do know position coaches usually don't recruit their position, they recruit an area don't you?

They do both. They'll recruit an area as their general duty, but they develop relationships with the recruits who would be playing under them, regardless of geography.

as a recruiter Sabin stinks big time he depends on his coaches, ESP recruiting and ESPN does a great job !
