Wisconsin, Stanford, USC and Notre Dame would probably all disagree with you.
They could. But they'd probably be wrong.
Randy McMichael, Ben Watson, Leonard Pope, Martrez Milner, Orson Charles, Arty Lynch, Demarcus Dobbs (wasn't even a TE at UGA but is a TE now), Jay Rome will be drafted, w/ Jeb Blazevich coming in I'd say it's safe to say we're tight end U. That's just since 2001.

Well, your enthusiasm that your school is finally doing what about 15 other schools have already been doing for decades is cute.
On a more serious note, it is more than cute. Nearly everyone questioned if Mizzou would be able to recruit Florida or Georgia like they did Texas. That doesn't mean coming in and stealing 5* kids from there. Didn't happen in Texas and won't happen in Florida or Georgia. But they have now shown that they can go down there and find and get quality kids. Let's not forget that Florida also offered Imatorbhebhe. Mizzou is also in on Saint Amour from the same high school that UGA has offered. If y'all want to pass on him too, we'll gladly take him.
Bottom line, Mizzou has been able to get into the southeast and land some quality players, whether they were the highest rated or not, and that's something many didn't think would happen given where we are.

No doubt. I don't think we even wanted AJ Green. Guy was garbage.

You guys sure weren't saying Nate Brown was trash last year. If I'm correct, he may have been one of the best, if not THE best, high school WR in Georgia last year.

He wasn't at this point last year
Eta- and he wasn't the best. The two best receivers in Ga last year were juniors

Nate Brown
You honestly think this guy was the best WR in the state last year. UGA offered on Nov 16th.
Good lord

Stanton Truitt was the best WR in Ga last year.

I don't think he even played receiver, but whatever you say

Before anybody brags about stealing saint-armour just remember that there are about 20 GA defensive ends in the top 247 this year

On video I like our own Shakenneth Williams. Out of all the receivers we got last year his tape was far and away the best at receiver. He's going to be really good.

Solid post. I can't speak for others but I thought you guys were talking trash like you were going to pillage our states 4 and 5 stars. (although a few were saying that)

If he were, we would have offered before November.

"Rant experts" led us to believe that Pinkel wouldn't be able to recruit the state of Georgia. Looks like he's doing with Georgia what he did with Texas in the Big 12 - creating a pipeline to Missouri.

Be careful about making light of this. The real point of this story isn't the star rating of the kid...it's the fact that Mizzou is becoming a presence in Georgia and solid Georgia high school recruits are taking notice.

I believe kids from the State of Georgia go to places all over the country, in fact, I believe we had a GA player go to every state last year to play football. No one said you couldn't get recruits from the state of GA. We just said you wouldn't be getting the top talent from GA. Which is true.
